EHDViz | Data Visualization Framework for Integrated Health Assessment

The trend in medicine to better quantify our health provides a better understanding of our wellness and enables personalized lifestyle and medical recommendations to stay healthy. In order to get a complete picture of our quantified selves, there needs to be visualization tools that can integrate the ever expanding sources of Electronic Health Data (EHD) and demonstrate changes over time. Here we share EHDViz, an opensource dashboard that interactively displays information from multiple EHD data streams. We have demonstrations of 3 use scenarios of this framework, as well as access to the code repository so you can develop your own particular application.

Select Use Scenario

Quantified Self

Integrate all of your health data.

Clinical Evaluation

Identify trends in your patients' health.

PHM

Monitor trends in cohorts of patients.

Who We Are

Our research focuses on the development and use of translational and biomedical informatics approaches to address critical challenges in systems medicine and biomedical informatics. We are interested in identifying and developing novel therapeutic and diagnostic approaches for human disease through integration and analysis of molecular and clinical data, and also perform research to develop and evaluate methods to incorporate genomic sequencing data into clinical practice.

Design and development of EHDViz is supported by the following National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant: Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) by National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS, UL1TR000067)
